While I think there's more to the sport than meets the eye, this brand of entertainment is fun because of this outrageous Nu-Metal adjacent branding - not in spite of it. Much like a Kid Rock or Limp Bizkit concert, there's an assumed spirit of brashness and a certain kind of masculine bravado that precedes the institution of Monster Jam.
